Better Hearing Australia's Victorian Hearing Aid Bank (VHAB) – an unfunded program and the only bank of its kind in Victoria – aims to reduce the impact of hearing loss by providing hearing aids to disadvantaged Victorians.
The issue mainly affects people in their 30's, 40's and 50's, who represent our community's most marginalised and disadvantaged, such as:
- single income families;
- working poor and unemployed; and
- refugees and asylum seekers.
